Milan Kubiatko I am an assistant professor at J. E. Purkyne University in Usti nad
Labem, Czech Republic (Faculty of Education). I graduated at Faculty of Natural Sciences in
Comenius University in 2004, in subjects approbation
Biology - Geography. I defended PhD thesis in 2007 in the

Research activity
Research field lies in the area of science
education. The investigation purposes are focused on the attitudes toward
science subjects (biology, geography, physics and chemistry), also I am
focused on the attitudes toward different biological phenomena like
biotechnology, animals (the comparison of unpopular and popular animals,
water birds, etc.). Next mine focus is in the investigation of
wrong ideas about different biological topics (genetics, zoology,
biotechnology, plant physiology,…). Also I am
investigating the pupils and students attitudes toward and using of
information and communication technologies. I am methodologically focusing on the
quantitative analysis of data. |
